Location: Saugerties -Ulster County, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are a growing electrical contracting company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by supporting office functions, customer communication, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism
• Schedule service calls and coordinate technician calendars
• Provide excellent customer service and communication
• Perform data entry and maintain organized records
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices and payments using QuickBooks Online
• Support general bookkeeping and administrative tasks
• Maintain office organization and assist with day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with computers and office software
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required
• Bookkeeping experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in construction or electrical industry is a plus (not required)
