HISTORY

Richers Electric began in 1999, founded by Randy Richers—a driven young electrician with a vision to bring reliable, high-quality service to his local community. With a degree in Electrical Construction, Maintenance, and Controls from SUNY Delhi and hands-on experience in the field, Randy launched a small electrical business built on trust, integrity, and workmanship.

Over 25 years later, that vision has grown into a trusted name across the Mid-Hudson Valley. Today, Richers Electric proudly serves hundreds of residential, commercial, and industrial clients across multiple counties. Though we’ve expanded, our commitment to honesty, quality, and community remains exactly the same.

Robert Ostoyic

Project Manager

With over four decades in the electrical industry, Bob is a Master Electrician and brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to every project. At Richers Electric, he plays a key role in estimating, project planning, and mentoring the next generation of electricians.

Bob enjoys communicating and working with other contractors to allow for a smooth transition from start to finish on all projects.

Outside of work, Bob is a dedicated family man who takes pride in helping others. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf with family and friends.

Will Garrety

Project Manager

With over five years of experience in the electrical industry, Will specializes in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions. At Richers Electric, he manages projects ranging from residential wiring to large-scale commercial installations—always with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Will’s dedication to staying current with the latest electrical codes and technologies ensures that every job is completed to the highest standard.

In his free time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys at their home in Cairo, NY.

Erniest Deyo

Journeyman Electrician

With over 23 years of hands-on experience, Ernie is a skilled Journeyman Electrician who specializes in residential electrical work. Known for his dedication and deep industry knowledge, Ernie serves as a mentor to the Richers Electric team, always ready to lead by example and tackle any challenge with enthusiasm. His commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction makes him a valuable asset to every project.

When he’s not on the job, Ernie enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at the SPCA. He also loves spending time at home with his dogs in Elizaville, NY.

Trenton Kitchen

Lead Electrician

As a Journeyman Electrician, Trent brings 9 years of hands-on experience to the field, specializing in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work. Known for his attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Trent plays a key role in keeping job sites running smoothly and safely. He takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring every installation exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Outside of work, Trent enjoys spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and staying active with friends and family.

Zac Richards

Ethan Gunning

2nd Year Electrical Apprentice

Ethan is a dedicated apprentice at Richers Electric INC , gaining hands-on experience across all areas of the electrical trade—including industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Under the guidance of seasoned electricians, he is developing a strong understanding of NEC-compliant practices and a steadfast commitment to safety. Ethan’s work ethic and enthusiasm make him a valued member of the Richers team.

Outside of work, Ethan is a devoted family man and proud father to a young daughter. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and being outdoors.

Michael Dysard

Apprentice Electrician

Mike is an Apprentice Electrician at Richers Electric, where he is gaining hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical systems. Under the guidance of senior electricians, he is developing a strong foundation in safe work practices, code compliance, and quality installation techniques. With a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, he is a valued part of the team and committed to becoming a highly skilled journeyman in the field.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with his family.
